EMERSON U. PALAD, Juris Doctor

Atty. Palad is one of the founding partners of the Firm. He is a true-blue Atenean having spent his high school to law school years in the renowned Ateneo de Manila University. He graduated Second Honors in secondary school and was a consistent Dean’s Lister in college and law School. He graduated with a degree in Legal Management before immediately pursuing a Juris Doctor degree in law.

After passing the Philippine Bar in 2006, he immediately immersed himself in the practice of law. He was an associate of Cruz Enverga and Lucero Law Offices in Makati where he was honed as a brilliant litigator as well as a legal advocate. During the same period, he served as Treasurer for the Ateneo de Manila University Alumni Association for two (2) terms before heading to Cavite to set up the Firm in 2010.

Consistent with his desire to help more people, he joined the government as a Chief Legal Advisor for the Office of the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture in 2010. Through hard work and dedication, he was appointed as Undersecretary and Chief of Staff of Secretary Proceso J. Alcala in 2012. Seeing his value and contribution to the agency, in 2012, he was designated as Undersecretary for Field Operations.

Most recently, Atty. Palad was appointed as the Local Civil Registrar of Tagaytay City, Cavite where he serves as the City Civil Registrar.

RHEA A. JARO-PALAD, Juris Doctor

Atty. Jaro-Palad is the second founding partner of the Firm. She took up secondary school in the prestigious Manila Science High School and moved on to the Ateneo de Manila University College she was a Dean’s Lister having taken up Legal Management as well. She pursued a career in law and finished her Juris Doctor’s degree in Ateneo de Manila University School of Law.

Upon passing the bar in 2006, she became an associate lawyer of Aranas Consunji and Barleta Law Offices in Makati where she focused on tax and corporate practice. She excelled in securing crucial rulings from the Bureau of Internal Revenue for her multinational clients and was tasked to argue cases before the Court of Tax Appeals.

Currently, she is the Managing Partner of the Firm as she balances holding other functions as Assistant Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Jaro Development Corporation (JDC) and Vice President of LAJ Nutri Farms Inc.

Combining practical legal knowledge and an efficient entrepreneurial approach, Atty. Rhea J. Palad is able to assist the Firm’s clients’ business and Legal concerns. Her executive positions from multiple companies gives her the edge and competence to skillfully deliver to the Firm’s clients. Her incorporation of legal practices with strong business concepts develops a solid foundation for the client and their needs.

JOSE EMMANUEL PALCONIT

BACHELOR OF LAWS
Joem has considerable exposure handling criminal, civil, and labor cases along with corporate regulatory and compliance. He worked his way through law school as a Human Resources practitioner in several companies prior to becoming a lawyer. Before joining the Firm, he was an Associate Lawyer in a Makati-based law firm where he handled civil, criminal and labor cases. He likewise immersed himself in handling cases for maritime and insurance companies before the appellate courts. Joem earned his degree in Philosophy and Human Resource Development from San Beda University in 2009. He graduated from Arellano University School of Law in 2016 and was admitted to the bar the following year. He joined PJP Law Offices in 2018.

RHYZZI CELINE S. TARUC

JURIS DOCTOR
Rhyz handles criminal, civil, family, labor, and administrative cases, along with corporate work and special projects. Prior to joining the Firm, she was an Associate for the Litigation Department in a Taguig-based law firm where she handled civil, criminal and administrative cases, litigating before the regional trial courts, Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. Rhyz earned her degree in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines-Diliman in 2009. She graduated from Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2015 and was admitted to the bar the following year. She joined PJP Law Offices in 2019.
